Job summary

MLR Associates Ltd in the UK or Ireland is seeking a Senior Ericsson 5G Packet Core Design Authority to own architectural governance, end-to-end delivery oversight, and the success of complex core-network transformations on an onsite contract.

You will lead EPG2 to EPG3 migrations, drive SACC and PCC evolution, manage SRR to ITC transitions, design 5G network slicing, and integrate URSP and RedCap while collaborating with vendor teams and executive stakeholders for resilient, high-availability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in mobile core network architecture, design, and deployment.
• Hands-on Ericsson 5G Packet Core architecture experience.
• Experience with EPG2/EPG3, SACC/PCC evolution, and SRR to ITC transitions.
• Experience with 5G Network Slicing, URSP, and RedCap architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills under telecom conditions.
• Excellent English communication and executive presentation abilities.
• UK or Ireland onsite work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture, solution design, governance, and delivery oversight for Ericsson 5G packet core networks.
• Architect EPG2 to EPG3 evolution, software upgrades, and hardware migration roadmaps.
• Design and implement SACC and PCC evolution strategies.
• Manage SRR to ITC transition projects and core network routing transformations.
• Architect advanced 5G Network Slicing solutions and end-to-end core control/user plane integration.
• Integrate URSP and RedCap technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering squads, tier-1 operators, and external vendor partners.
• Establish rigorous technical governance, architectural documentation, and engineering best practices.
