Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer for an office-based role in Nutfield. The position focuses on owning complex escalations, driving infrastructure improvements and occasional projects.

You will troubleshoot across Windows Server, M365, Hyper-V/VMware, Citrix and networking, with teamwork across 1st–2nd lines. The role is hands-on, with ownership of incidents and proactive problem resolution, plus opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Microsoft and infrastructure environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems across multiple systems or suppliers.
• Experience in MSP or multi-customer support environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex issues escalated from 1st/2nd line to resolution or escalation path.
• Troubleshoot across Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, M365, Hyper-V/VMware, Citrix and RDS.
• Support 1st/2nd line with guidance, knowledge sharing and documentation.
• Contribute to planned maintenance, patches and migrations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues to keep tickets moving.
