Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking a Senior 3rd Line Network Engineer in Huntingdon to perform advanced fault resolution and proactive maintenance on high-side IT systems. You will handle escalations, develop technical solutions, and liaise with stakeholders at all levels to meet SLA and KPI targets.

Essential: SDN with NSX, Cisco LAN expertise (CCNP/CCDP level ideal), WAN routing, and firewall experience with Fortigate/Juniper. Strong communication and ITIL delivery are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SDN and VMware NSX in enterprise LAN environments.
• Strong understanding of Cisco LAN deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on WAN routing protocol experience and scalable network solutions.
• Experience delivering ITIL-based ICT service for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• System Support & ticket resolution to keep Core Network estate online.
• Root cause analysis with resolver groups and manufacturers.
• Periodic maintenance and upgrading activities to prevent obsolescence.
• Maintain and create configuration documentation and change logs.
• Assist in deployment of infrastructure components and CR projects.
