Job summary

Salt in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Support Analyst for 3rd Line Infrastructure to deliver advanced support across identity, access management and on-premises to cloud services.

You will implement and support MFA using Microsoft Entra ID, configure Entra ID policies, troubleshoot complex authentication issues and collaborate with security, network and application teams. This is an on-site role based in Norfolk, with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong 3rd Line infrastructure support experience.
• Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Active Directory experience.
• Experience with Multi Factor Authentication and Conditional Access.
• Identity and Access Management across Windows Server, AD and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting complex authentication and access issues.
• Security hardening and vulnerability remediation in large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd Line support across infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Implement and support MFA using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Configure and manage Entra ID policies, Conditional Access and authentication methods.
• Support identity and access management services.
• Troubleshoot authentication and access issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application and cybersecurity teams to onboard users and applications to MFA.
• Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
• Assist with DSPT compliance by implementing security controls and providing technical evidence.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, alerts and system capacity.
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced colleagues.
• Ensure incidents and service requests are logged and resolved within SLAs.
