Niantic Spatial in London is seeking 3D Reconstruction Research Scientist to advance state-of-the-art in 3D reconstruction and spatial AI. You will work with top researchers across CV, ML, graphics, and robotics to push large-scale spatial understanding from research to production, including on-device constraints and real-world data.

You will publish at leading venues and contribute to a pipeline turning imagery into explorable 3D reconstructions, with opportunities for direct impact on products

Formación

• PhD in Computer Vision, Robotics, ML, CS, Mathematics, Physics or closely related field; exceptional industry-equivalent accepted
• Strong publication record at top conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS)
• Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch
• Evidence of turning research into real production (shipped feature, production pipeline, open-source release)
• Ability to independently drive research projects from idea to experimentation and publication

Responsabilidades

• Conduct original research in computer vision, machine learning, and spatial AI.
• Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms for 3D reconstruction, neural scene representations, and spatial models.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to transition ideas into products.
• Develop large-scale experiments and benchmarking frameworks.
• Work with production constraints and real-world capture conditions.
• Publish findings at leading conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or SIGGRAPH.
