Job summary

Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School is seeking an inspiring SENDCo to lead our high-performing SEND department, working with motivated teachers, support staff, and pupils, as well as our Inclusion Base, to ensure every child reaches their full potential. This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a diverse, church-based community.

The successful candidate will have evident SEND experience or a genuine desire to further develop this area and will develop strong working relationships

Qualifications

• Evidence of SEND experience or willingness to develop this area.
• Ability to build relationships with outside agencies and complete paperwork promptly.
• Collaborative team player with patience and a sense of humour.

Responsibilities

• Lead the high-performing SEND department and work with motivated teachers, support staff and pupils.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion Base to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
• Drive and develop SEND practices and procedures to build on existing systems.
