Job summary

The Highcrest Academy seeks an experienced educator to lead within our Inclusion Team while also contributing as a classroom teacher in History, Geography, or Religious Studies. You will receive line management support from the Head of Humanities and an Assistant Headteacher with SENDCo qualifications, ensuring strong guidance as you transition into the role.

Extensive SEND expertise and a commitment to safeguarding are essential to deliver first-class pastoral care and high-quality provision

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of SEND and inclusive education.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead within the Inclusion Team while contributing to the Humanities Department as a classroom teacher.
• Work under line management from the Head of Humanities and an Assistant Headteacher with SENDCo responsibilities.
• Ensure safeguarding and provide robust pastoral care with organised, strategic problem-solving.
