Job summary

Colham Manor Primary School is seeking an experienced and highly skilled SENDCo to join our inclusive community in Greater London. This full-time role has no class responsibility and focuses on SEND, working within a dynamic team to support pupils with diverse needs.

The successful candidate will hold a SENCO qualification, or have the aspiration to achieve the NPQ for SENCOs when appointed, and will collaborate with families and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the best possible start

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organisational and computer skills required.
• SENCO qualification or aspiration to achieve NPQ for SENCOs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and share the most effective teaching approaches for pupils with SEND.
• Work with outside agencies to support children and staff.
• Adeptly apply for EHCPs and other funding streams.
• Understand and address parent/carer concerns and build trusting professional relationships with families.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled teacher to be one of two SENDCo’s at our school.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, is creative and hard working with excellent

communication, organizational and computer skills. This is a full time SENDCo role and there is no class

responsibility attached.

Candidates must have a SENCO qualification, or have an aspiration to achieve the NPQ for SENCOs when appointed.
