Job summary

Kids Planet Donisthorpe is seeking a SENDCO Lead to join our caring team. You will lead SEND provisions, design tailored support plans with families and external agencies, and help every child access learning.

A Level 3 UK early years qualification, senior-level experience, and a strong grasp of Ofsted/EYFS safeguarding are essential. We offer training, enhanced leave, and a supportive environment that values wellbeing and career development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
• Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

What a SENDCO Needs

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.

Experience Of Working With Children With SEND Requirements

• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings
