Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEMH and SEND needs in Maths, English or Science. Roles are self-employed, offering in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching with flexible hours to fit your schedule.

You’ll plan, deliver trauma-informed tutoring, report progress, and collaborate with local authorities and schools to raise outcomes for KS1–KS5 learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• English, Maths, and/or Science teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Based in the UK with right to work, including remote/online roles

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND/SEMH
• Plan and report lessons, provide regular progress feedback
• Support learners KS1–KS5 via flexible, trauma-informed tutoring
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to plan tutoring opportunities
