Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd. is seeking SEND tutors and teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition in person, online or hybrid formats.

Roles are self‑employed and opportunities arise as applications come in, with flexible hours and a trauma‑informed approach to support disengaged and at‑risk learners. We collaborate with schools and Local Authorities to transform lives, offering CPD, mentoring, and a supportive SEND team while enabling tutors to work within the community and

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based right to work (including remote/online roles)
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH/SEND needs
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Support pupils across KS1–KS5 as appropriate and mentor learners
• Contribute to trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring within a child-centred setting
