Job summary

A local council EHC team in Bolton is looking for a SEND Tutor to engage, motivate, and support students with educational needs. This role is full-time or part-time with flexible hours, allowing you to work with students to help them succeed academically. Ideal candidates will have teaching qualifications and experience with students with EHCPs, ready to make a difference.

The School and Role

A Local Council EHC Team are looking for a SEND Tutor who can teach Maths & English to students with EHCPs who are unable to attend education. The desired SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with special educational needs and disabilities. The SEND Tutor role is based in Bolton and long term to provide consistency for students. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.

Requirements

The desired SEND Tutor will have:

• A teaching qualification
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs
• An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people
