Job summary

Baltimore Consulting is seeking an experienced SEND Team Manager to lead a dedicated team through service transformation and ensure high-quality statutory assessment delivery. The role blends operational leadership with continuous improvement to meet statutory responsibilities.

You will work in a hybrid setup with 2 days on site, delivering impact across safeguarding, performance and multi-agency collaboration. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's management experience within a Local Authority SEND service.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory processes and best practice.
• Proven ability to improve performance, manage workloads and deliver change.
• Experience of multi-agency partnership working and stakeholder management.
• Confidence managing complex, sensitive and high-risk cases within a statutory setting.

SEND Team Manager

3 Month Initial Contract | Immediate Start | View to Extend
£400 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Hybrid Working | 2 days on site (can be reduced once established)

Looking for your next challenge within SEND leadership? As SEND Team Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving improvement, strengthening statutory performance and delivering positive outcomes for children, young people and their families. Joining at an important stage of service transformation, you'll lead a dedicated team, oversee complex casework and help shape the future direction of the service.

This is an opportunity for an experienced SEND Team Manager who enjoys balancing operational leadership with service improvement. You'll be trusted to deliver meaningful change, support staff development and ensure statutory responsibilities are met to the highest standard.

Your Role as SEND Team Manager:

• Lead and inspire a team delivering high-quality SEND statutory assessment services
