Step Teachers Ltd is recruiting an SEND Teaching Assistant for full-time, flexible supply roles across London. You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND in mainstream or specialist settings, assisting teachers and contributing to an inclusive, safe learning environment.

SEND Teaching Assistant - Full-time, flexible supply roles starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for support staff who are passionate about inclusive education and want to make a meaningful impact across different school settings. You'll be working with a range of schools in and around Haringey, supporting pupils with special educational needs.

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs in mainstream or specialist settings
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Support pupils with personal care and mobility needs where required
• Contribute to observations and progress tracking
• Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals
