Job summary

Keys Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support Oaklands Manor in a picturesque rural location. The role involves assisting teachers, promoting pupil wellbeing, and adapting support for complex needs. A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous, with at least two years of SEND experience preferred.

Salary ranges £26,228–£27,593 full-time (37.5 hours/week). The package includes a pension, referral bonus, enhanced pay scales, and funded training.

Qualifications

Two years' experience minimum working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
Ability to assist with learning activities and support pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Assist pupils with learning activities under teacher guidance.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development using trauma-informed approaches.
Help manage behaviour in line with school policy and Staff Code of Conduct.
Encourage pupil engagement and independence in learning tasks.
Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources.
Support record-keeping and monitoring of pupil progress as directed.
