The Misbourne is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join our SEND team, supporting individual students and small groups to help them engage with learning. You will work closely with teachers to ensure progress and foster confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience with supporting students in a school setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work with young people in a secondary context.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Work with subject teachers to support progress in subjects.
• Support individual students and small groups with learning.
• Be a positive role model socially and academically.
• Foster relationships with staff and peers.
• Be flexible to meet needs of SEND department daily.
• Identify training needs and attend internal/external training.
• Maintain records, undertake assessments, and evaluate needs.
• Promote inclusive practice and equality for all.
