Requirements Of Applicant

Experience working with children with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning difficulties.

Ability to manage challenging behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.

Strong communication skills to effectively support students, teachers, and parents.

Patience, empathy, and resilience to work with pupils who require additional support.

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment.

Ability to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.

Collaborative mindset to work effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists.
