Qualifications

  • Capable of delivering one-to-one and small group support.
  • Comfortable managing challenging behaviour and maintaining safety.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively.
  • DBS safeguarding compliance as required by the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEMH, ASD and additional needs.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and engagement.
  • Help pupils develop coping strategies and participate in learning.
  • Create a calm, safe and positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider support team.
