Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs at Bootle Primary School. The role focuses on enabling access to learning, building confidence and encouraging active participation in classroom activities.

You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to tailor activities, manage behaviours and support individual education plans. A welcoming school environment offers stability and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD or SEMH.
• Is patient, nurturing and confident managing challenging behaviour.
• Can adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Works well alongside teachers and the wider SEND team.

Responsibilities

• You'll be supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and thrive in the classroom.
• Assist teachers and the SEND team to implement learning plans and promote inclusive practices.
