Job summary

Corpus Christ RC Primary School in Oldham is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant at Level 2 to support a pupil with SEND on a dedicated 1:1 basis. The role is 16 hours per week, mornings 8.45am-12.45pm, Monday to Thursday, term-time only, temporary to 16 July 2027. Salary is £10,770 (Grade 3).

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider team to deliver personalised support within the EHCP, helping the pupil access learning, develop independence and communication.

Responsibilities

• This role provides dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND, helping them access learning, develop independence, communicate effectively and participate fully in school life. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider team to deliver personalised support, including strategies and provision identified within the pupil's EHCP.

• Safety, wellbeing, transitions, break/lunchtime and wider school activities.
