Job summary

A leading education provider is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Haringey. This role involves supporting a pupil with additional needs on a 1:1 basis in a nurturing environment. Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Haringey
Location: Haringey, North London
Salary: £90–£95 per day (PAYE – no umbrella faff)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2025

They’re looking for someone calm, kind, and quietly confident to support a pupil with additional needs (think autism and sensory regulation) on a 1:1 basis. It’s a school where support staff are part of the heartbeat—and where your experience will be genuinely valued.

Your role will include:

• Daily 1:1 support to help the pupil access learning and routines

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

• Supporting emotional regulation and confidence

• Helping create a safe, consistent learning space

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with SEND (either in schools or care settings)

• A patient, proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
