Zusammenfassung

Rockmount Primary School is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. You will deliver agreed learning activities, help pupils access lessons through specialist support, and prepare resources.

The role includes supervision before and after school, at lunchtimes and on trips, with both full-time and part-time posts offered. The fixed-term post runs to 31 August 2027 and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifikationen

• Full enhanced DBS check
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Aufgaben

• Implement agreed learning activities and teaching programmes
• Help pupils access learning activities through specialist support
• Implement local and national learning strategies such as literacy, numeracy, KS3 and early years
• Support use of ICT in learning and build pupils' competence with it
• Prepare and maintain general and specialist equipment and resources
• Follow child protection, health, safety, confidentiality and data protection policies
• Support equality of access to learning and development
• Contribute to school ethos and aims
• Attend relevant meetings
• Supervise pupils before/after school and at lunchtime
• Accompany staff and pupils on visits and activities
