Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Shrewsbury. This is a full-time or part-time, long‑term role designed to make a real difference.

You will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, working 1:1 and in small groups, promoting confidence, independence and inclusive learning. References and an enhanced DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Caring, flexible, proactive approach.
• References and enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to meet pupils’ individual needs.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Commit to a full-time or part-time role starting in May 2026.
