Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant in Ashington to join a primary school and support pupils in KS1 and KS2 within the SEND provision.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEND, work both independently and as part of a team, and start ASAP on a temporary long-term basis through July 2027. Weekly PAYE rates are £462.80–£475.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The School and Role

A Primary School situated in the Hexham area are looking to employ a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and offer support in the school's SEND provision with children in KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will have previous experience of supporting pupils with additional needs and be confident in tailoring learning to ensure all children can achieve to a high standard. This role is set to commence ASAP and continuing on a long-term basis if all goes well.
