Responsibilities

• Providing individual and small group support: assisting pupils with learning activities, one‑to‑one support, and differentiated learning plans.
• Creating and maintaining a supportive learning environment: contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring pupil safety and well‑being.
• Communicating effectively: maintaining regular communication with teachers, parents/carers, and other professionals regarding pupil progress and well‑being.
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs: implementing strategies to support development and manage challenging behaviour.
• Assisting with practical tasks: supporting pupils with personal care needs, preparing learning materials, and maintaining classroom resources.
• Contributing to the wider school community: participating in school events and activities and supporting overall well‑being of the school.
