Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND across multiple primary schools in Liskeard and surrounding areas. You will work with teachers and SENCOs to tailor support and gain experience across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, in a variable and rewarding supply role.

Candidates with experience in childcare or related roles are welcome; relevant qualifications help but are not essential. Supply work offers flexible patterns and weekly PAYE payments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Knowledge or experience of supporting SEND pupils.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Confident working one-to-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs alongside teachers and SENCOs.
• Assist across different schools and year groups.
• Help pupils thrive academically and personally.
