Outcomes First Group is hiring a Teaching Assistant at Acorn Park School in Banham, Norwich. You’ll support students with SEND, provide one-to-one and small-group assistance, and help build confidence and independence. This role offers a fixed salary of £22,160.62 per year, 37.5 hours weekly, and term-time considerations.

Start: October 2026. UK applicants only – sponsorship not available. You’ll work closely with teachers, families, and professionals to promote wellbeing and inclusive learning

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) required.
• Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with students, families and colleagues.
• Is patient, resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with SEND and complex needs to engage in learning and achieve their individual goals.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support both in and beyond the classroom.
• Building positive, trusted relationships that help students feel safe, valued and confident.
• Promoting emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour and social development.
• Encouraging independence, communication skills and personal growth.
• Working closely with teachers, families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students.
