Job summary

Enterprise Learning Alliance is seeking a Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant Apprentice to support KS3/KS4 students at risk of exclusion. The role involves learning support, pastoral care and helping deliver an alternative curriculum under tutor supervision.

The apprenticeship includes online training, a Level 3 Diploma, and progression opportunities. Working hours are 35.5 per week, £8.00 per hour, Monday to Friday, with a structured training plan and DBS checks where required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with schools, parents and agencies.
• Knowledge of Data Protection and safeguarding basics.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and pastoral needs of KS3/KS4 students at risk of exclusion.
• Assist in delivering an alternative curriculum with the Tutor.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and get pupils back to lessons.
• Provide regular educational reports and maintain student records.
