Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for Oldham, offering a sign-on bonus and flexible placements across Primary, Secondary and SEND settings. The role supports pupils with additional needs, working with teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted interventions.

Candidates should have at least 12 months' experience in a UK school, Level 2 TA qualification, and a good safeguarding/behaviour management understanding. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent Ofqual-recognised qualification).
• At least 12 months' experience in a UK education setting.
• Confident supporting children with SEND and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
• Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted support.
• Assist with learning, engagement and emotional wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
