Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is hiring a Teaching Assistant in Shaftesbury to support pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs in a local SEND school.

The role offers a weekly pay of £462.80, with hours from 8:30am to 3:30–4:30pm, and starts asap on a full-time basis with potential permanency after a temporary period. The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, be adaptable, reliable, and team-oriented, with references, a valid DBS, and Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an SEND setting with pupils with varying needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must provide suitable references and have the Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with moderate learning difficulties and more complex needs on a small group and 1:1 basis.
• Assist in daily classroom activities within a SEND school.
• Contribute to pupil development and wellbeing.
