Job summary

Old Town Infant School & Nursery in Poole is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to work 1:1 with a Reception pupil. The post is 31.25 hours in term time, with pro rata salary within Grade D SCP 5-6.

The ideal candidate will have English and Maths GCSE at grade C or above and an NVQ Level 2 in teaching assistants or equivalent, plus a passion for SEND and good interpersonal skills. The appointment is fixed-term to 31 August 2029, with safeguarding checks required.
