Job summary

Envision Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a terrific SEND school in Hemel Hempstead. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a focus on supporting children’s learning, development and personal growth. You must have worked with children and be able to provide a reference.

A CHILD & ADULT DBS is required (or willingness to obtain one). Being local to Hemel Hempstead or within a commutable distance is essential.

Qualifications

• Available Immediately!
• Willing to support SEND children as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• MUST have a CHILD & ADULT DBS or willing to get one
• Have experience with children in some capacity you can provide a reference for
• Live local to Hemel Hempstead or within a commutable distance

Responsibilities

• Support a child with their learning and development as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
• Build a close bond with children to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
• Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised as an SEND Teaching Assistant
• Work 1:1 with the child to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones.
