Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. currently partners with several Special Needs Schools in Wolverhampton to recruit Unqualified, Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants. Roles range from early years to post-16 for pupils with SEND, including complex physical, sensory and cognitive needs.

The team seeks empathetic, patient, and resilient candidates to support daily activities and learning in a challenging environment. Many posts are temporary to permanent, with guidance on interviews and planning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND and complex needs.
• Empathetic, patient and resilient approach required.
• Proven ability to work in busy school environments.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with day-to-day activities in SEND settings.
• Assist with lesson delivery and planning as needed.

Job description

Tradewind Recruitment are working with several different Special Needs Schools in Wolverhampton who are recruiting Unqualified, Level 2 and Level 3 TA's

The schools ages range from early years to post 16 for children with SEND.

The schools are part SEND Trusts and SEND Local Authority Schools with a range significant complex needs including a combination of physical, sensory, medical and cognition and learning needs. As well as a SEND College which is an independent specialist provision for young adults aged 19 to 25 years who have PMLD.

The schools are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short term and full time within their schools. It is essential that you have prior experience supporting with complex needs. It is essential your empathetic, patient and resilient as a lot of the pupils in school communicate through action which means days can be challenging.

Some of the schools are temporary to permanent positions so to be considered for these roles or to gain further information
