The Role:

We are currently working in partnership with a well-resourced primary school in Sheffield that requires a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can support the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified SEND Teaching Assistant with relevant qualifications and experience working with primary school-aged children with special educational needs.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting within the last two years is preferred.
  • Be able to support students' learning and help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Have strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Be enthusiastic and highly motivated, leading by example and encouraging students to achieve their best.
