Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for Nottingham, England to support pupils with SEND across primary, secondary and SEND settings. Daily supply, short-term and long-term placements are available with flexible working to fit your availability.

Candidates must have a Level 2 TA qualification and at least 12 months' UK experience, with a good safeguarding/behaviour management background and right to work in the UK. A sign-on bonus is offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent Ofqual-recognised qualification).
• Have at least 12 months' experience working within a UK education setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Confident supporting children with SEND.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
• Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted support
• Assist with learning, engagement and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required

Monarch Education is working with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools across Nottingham and is looking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.

Whether you're looking for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements or a route into a permanent role, we can offer flexibility to suit your availability.
