Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Northampton is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with a range of needs across local schools. You will provide 1:1 and small-group assistance, helping pupils access learning and build independence.

The role offers both full-time and part-time hours with flexible opportunities. You will receive free CPD through The National College and ongoing support from your dedicated Tradewind consultant in Northampton.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs, including personal care and manual handling where applicable.
• Reliability and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive.

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of schools in Northampton and the surrounding areas.

We have opportunities to support pupils with a wide range of needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and feel supported throughout the school day.

Working Hours
Full-time availability is preferred, with opportunities to work regularly across our partner schools. We also have occasional part-time and flexible opportunities available.
