SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA)

Location: North Shields

Pay: GBP84 - GBP110 per day (Depending on Experience)

Start: Immediate

Contract: Daily Supply Long-term

Your Role:

1. Support teachers in delivering personalised learning plans.
2. Provide 1:1 and small group interventions.
3. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
4. Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
5. Track progress and liaise with staff, parents, and professionals.

What You Need:

1. Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant or similar role.
2. A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
3. Great communication and teamwork skills.
4. Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
5. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
