Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for Northumberland to join a great secondary school on a long-term, ongoing basis with an ASAP start.

You will support students with SEN needs, help them engage with lessons, work closely with teachers and pastoral teams, and use de-escalation techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people within the past 2 years.
• A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one
• Previous experience working with SEND students
• Teaching qualification is highly desirable
