Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a SEND teaching assistant to join a special needs school in Newark. The role involves working one-to-one with students across KS1–KS4, collaborating with the class teacher and fellow teaching assistants.

Working hours are 8:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, with a long-term contract and the potential for extension or permanency. Experience in the care sector or healthcare settings is valued, making this an ideal transition for those from education or care backgrounds

• Experience working with children in a care or support setting.

Responsibilities

• Working one to one with students.
• Collaborating with the class teacher and other teaching assistants.
• Developing social and cognitive development of students.
• Supporting learners under the guidance of senior staff.
• Maintain a consistent daily schedule: 8:30–15:30, Monday to Friday.

Aspire People are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Newark.

This particular school are looking for a teaching assistant that has experience working in the care sector, who is interested in utilising their skills within education. This particular school caters for students in KS1 through to KS4.

This school are currently recruiting to start ASAP with a rolling contract. Option to go permanent and pay rate of up to 110 per day.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone from an education background or those that have worked within Healthcare/Support Work.

The Role

• Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 15:30
