Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school in Newark. The role suits candidates with care sector experience who want to apply their skills in education. KS1–KS4 students, Monday to Friday, 8:30–15:30, with a rolling contract and potential to go permanent. Daily rate up to £110.

Working one-to-one with pupils, you will collaborate with fellow assistants and the class teacher to support social and cognitive development under a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience in care sector and desire to work in education.
• Experience working with children is beneficial.

Aspire People are currently recruiting SEND teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Newark.

This particular school are looking for a teaching assistant that has experience working in the care sector, who is interested in utilising their skills within education. This particular school caters for students in KS1 through to KS4.

This school are currently recruiting to start ASAP with a rolling contract. Option to go permanent and pay rate of up to £110 per day.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone from an education background or those that have worked within Healthcare/Support Work.

The Role

• Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 15:30
• Long-term contract with the option of extending or just "here and there"
• Working one to one with students
• Working with a number of assistants and working collaboratively with the class teacher
• Developing social and cognitive development
• Supportive senior leadership team
