Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Chorley. You will support pupils with a range of SEND within a specialist classroom, delivering targeted interventions and building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

The role is ongoing, subject to funding, with competitive hourly pay and a supportive consultant to assist your career development in the SEND education sector.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEND within education, care, or support environments.
  • Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, or communication needs.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Location: Chorley

Role Type: Continuous Role (Dependent on Continued Funding Approval)

Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

Setting: Mainstream Primary School (Working Within a Specialist SEND Classroom)
