About the Role

Teacher Active is working with a number of alternative provisions in the Wakefield area seeking qualified teachers with experience supporting students with a wide range of needs. These roles include both long-term and day-to-day cover across multiple Key Stages, suitable for those seeking part-time or full-time placements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to secondary students with autism, severe learning difficulties, and complex needs.
• Follow the national curriculum and adapt lessons creatively.
• Build positive relationships with staff and pupils.
• Maintain excellent classroom management.

Candidate Requirements

• UK QTS with SEND experience.
