Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a SEND Teacher in Chesterfield to deliver lessons and support students with various special educational needs. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a temporary contract leading to permanent for the right candidate.

Required is UK QTS and experience with SEND; familiarity with SEMH/ASD/ADHD and other complex needs is preferred. DBS checks and safeguarding obligations apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience with SEND including SEMH, ASD, ADHD and other complex needs preferred.
• Experience in a similar SEND setting or strong transferable experience from mainstream setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the class in delivering lessons and provide guidance to students with diverse learning needs.
• Create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual SEND requirements.
• Assist with behaviour management and providing a stable learning environment.
