Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a SEND Teacher in Rotherham to cover the class and deliver lessons while supporting students with diverse SEND needs. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours 8:30 to 15:30, starting November 2026, and potential progression to permanent.

The school, an Ofsted-rated Good provision, serves SEMH, ASC, ADHD, MLD and EBD, and requires QTS and experience with challenging behaviours.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (Primary or Secondary) with maths and/or English specialism.
• Experience with SEND including SEMH, ASD, MLD and other complex needs.
• Previous experience in SEND settings or transferable mainstream experience.
• Team player with a passion for inspiring lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and provide support for students with diverse learning needs.
• Support consistency and continuity in the classroom.
• Manage SEMH/ASD/MLD behaviours and adapt teaching to individual needs.
