Job summary

Philip Southcote School, part of Bourne Education Trust, seeks a SEND Teacher to support students aged 11 to 19 with SEND needs. The role focuses on delivering inclusive teaching and safeguarding and contributing to tailored SEN plans.

Qualifications

• Awareness and commitment to safeguarding children.
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Deliver the curriculum to students with diverse needs and abilities, developing materials and pastoral arrangements as appropriate.
• Be accountable for attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils in your class, planning to help them reach their potential.
• Lead SEN-specific planning and review of SEN Support Arrangements where appropriate.
