Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a fantastic alternative provision in North Nottinghamshire, seeking a passionate qualified teacher to join for a full-time role starting September 2026.

The role involves teaching a broad range of National Curriculum subjects, vocational qualifications and Life-Skills, including Forest Schools, tailored for pupils with SEND/SEMH needs. DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one is required, with support offered.

• DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one (assistance provided).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of National Curriculum subjects, vocational qualifications, Functional Skills, Life-Skills and Forest Schools.
• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND/SEMH and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

TeacherActive are working closely with a fantastic Alternative provision in the North Nottinghamshire area, who are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate qualified teacher to join them for a full time role, starting September 2026.

The provision offers a range of National Curriculum subjects, vocational qualifications, Functional Skills, Life-Skills, and Forest Schools, alongside other programmes for pupils who need a more tailored approach.

To be considered for this role you must have relevant experience teaching in an SEND/SEMH setting as well as a clear passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH.

You also must have a DBS on the update service or willingness to get one (we can support you with getting one if you do not already have this)

The ideal teacher will:
