Job summary

TeacherActive are working with an Alternative provision in North Nottinghamshire seeking a qualified teacher for a full-time role starting September 2026.

You will teach a range of National Curriculum subjects, vocational qualifications, Functional Skills and Forest Schools, supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH with a patient, proactive approach. A DBS on update service is required (we can assist with obtaining one).

Qualifications

• Relevant experience teaching in an SEND/SEMH setting.
• QTS status and commitment to supporting SEND/SEMH students.
• Willingness to obtain an updated DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of National Curriculum subjects and vocational qualifications.
• Deliver Functional Skills, Life-Skills and Forest Schools as part of the curriculum.
• Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND/SEMH and monitor progress.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and DBS compliance.
