St Paul’s C of E Primary School is a growing, inclusive primary school serving the community of Brinnington.
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an inspirational classroom practitioner to lead our second resource base provision, which opens in September 2025.
You will have an interest in and/or experience of, working with children who have a range of special educational needs and will work closely with an experienced team to deliver a personalised curriculum to individuals within the resource class. You will also have a key role in supporting this next phase of our SEND provision.
We are looking for someone who:
Is an outstanding practitioner, committed to inclusive learning and with a child-centred vision of education
Can lead and work as part of a team and build positive relationships with families and external agencies
Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Has high expectations for all children
Understands the wide-ranging needs of children with SEND, including ASC/language and communication, cognition and learning.
Has current experience of teaching pupils with SEND and has a sound understanding of all the areas of need within the Code of Practice 2015

Salary will be Main Pay Scale and will be determined in relation to the successful candidate’s current salary and experience to date.
