We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact by providing inclusive, high-quality teaching to students with a range of additional needs.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that support various learning styles
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs
Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments where needed
Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil development
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
Stay current with best practices in SEND education through ongoing professional development
Manage behaviour using clear, consistent strategies that support emotional regulation and learning
Degree in Special Education or a related subject (Master’s desirable)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEND specialism
Experience working with students with a range of SEND needs
Strong understanding of learning difficulties and developmental disorders
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A genuine passion for inclusive education and personalised learning
