Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a commitment to supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities? We are looking for an experienced and nurturing SEND Teacher to join our specialist provision in Liverpool, where every child is valued, supported, and celebrated.
Our school provides a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment for pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. We are proud of our child-centred approach and dedicated multidisciplinary team who work together to help each learner thrive.
Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
Foster a positive and structured learning environment with clear routines.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to meet pupils' holistic needs.
Build trusting relationships with pupils, families, and carers to ensure consistent support.
Contribute to the development of personalised learning strategies and behavioural support plans.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting.
A thorough understanding of inclusive teaching practices and differentiated planning.
A calm, patient, and resilient approach, with excellent behaviour management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
